What is the Tamale Startup Bootcamp?

The Tamale Startup Bootcamp is a dynamic 2-day hybrid workshop in Tamale, Ghana, designed to empower 20 young entrepreneurs with foundational skills in entrepreneurship, business planning, and digital literacy. Through intensive sessions, the bootcamp aims to ignite innovation, foster resilience, and promote collaboration within Tamale’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and across Ghana.

FAQs

Who can apply to participate?

The Tamale Startup Bootcamp is open to young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 35 who reside in Tamale or have a business based in Tamale. Applicants can be at any stage of their entrepreneurial journey, whether they are in the ideation phase, have a startup, or are managing a more established business. All interested individuals who meet these criteria are encouraged to apply.

A hybrid program is one that is held in-person but the facilitation is virtual. All two days will be held in-person. Some of lessons and presentations will be done virtually over Microsoft Teams to all of the participants in-person.

There is no charge for participating in the program. Food and beverages are provided. The only expense you may have to incur is daily transportation tothe venue. We do not cover transportation cost.

Food and beverages will be provided to all participants for all two days.

We will provide a notebook, pen, paper, sticky notes and all other brainstorming materials. We suggest bringing a laptop computer (if you have one), your phone charger, and a reusable water bottle (if you would like).
